The appellant, Bernardo Ruiz, asserts that he was mentally incompetent at the time he was served in Nos. 4561 and 4666, and thus an award of a default judgment against him was improper. He also asserts that the trial court erred in granting summary judgment to the defendants in No. 5100, an equitable action to set aside the judgments in Nos. 4561 and 4666 or, in the alternative, seeking a right to redeem foreclosed property either through tolling of the statutory right of redemption, or enforcement of an equitable right of redemption.
